This site is dedicated to collecting information about YOUR most pressing problems, the issues you most want solutions for. My friends and I select issues to research for free reports -- personal, or public. We've also started setting up blogs on some issues. Check them out if the topics interest you. After several months of research about what employers, friends, and family can do about domestic violence, we decided the best thing to do was tell you how to find your way to the most qualified resources in your own community. There's a free report to download on that website.

In April, 2010, I was asked to contribute to the best-selling book on conscious business, Align, Expand and Succeed. It's an anthology of stories from people like me about how we've managed to serve others and fulfill our sense of purpose while building successful businesses that profit ourselves, our teams, and the world. To do good and do well!
I felt a little guilty. My most recent business has been real estate investing, and while it benefits the tradesmen who work on properties and the tenants who live in them, it's far from the level of contribution I made in earlier jobs and business ventures -- social work, state human service program planning, national public affairs coalitions.
I realized I'd never fulfilled a commitment I once made to God in a dark moment that if He'd help me help my children, I'd try to help other women overcome difficult situations. So I set up this website to gather information about what issues are most pressing for women I know (or have yet to meet) in their business or personal lives, issues they're having trouble solving.
My professional experience taught me to research, analyze and summarize information in understandable, actionable ways -- something often lacking in this world or search engines and "Information Overload."
We haven't heard about any problem that isn't already the subject of myriad books, websites, and broadcasts (is there one?); the problem is there's often too much information, no way to judge the quality without making it into a big research project, the information may be too technical, and it's hard to find a source that summarizes the action options you might have available to you.
That's what we're trying to do.
